DESCRIPTION:<br />The Social Marketing market interest group's official launch event. <br /> <br />This event celebrates the group's inauguration, including two high profile speakers on how a major commercial organisation uses social marketing and how social marketing fits with the government's Big Society/influencing behaviour agenda. The group also plans to present our response to the Institute's Shape the Agenda paper 'Less Smoke, More Fire'.<br /> <br />As well as keynote speakers, the conference will showcase good practice examples of social marketing during refreshments and provide a platform to discuss and debate the commonalities and differences between social and commercial marketing practice.
