Description

The Chartered Institute of Marketing is launching a White Paper on the future of marketing. The result of research completed for The Institute by Aston Business School, the Paper reveals how marketing and marketers are perceived by senior management, the barriers marketers face to gaining influence, and how marketers can help drive business performance.

The Paper argues that marketing is central to business success. Although marketing orientation and the influence of marketing within a firm are critical to business performance, marketers also need to prove the value they add and earn the respect of their peers.
