Description
Islamic banking is experiencing a significant growth rate with signs of a consistent future growth. Even the Vatican has said that banks should look at the rules of Islamic finance to restore confidence amongst their clients at a time of global economic crisis.
This event aims to explore both Islamic finance and insurance (Takaful) through an introduction/overview and two case study speakers. It will cover current market trends, consumer demand, market potential for expansion, how various Islamic finance/insurance products operate, insight into protection, saving products, and regulatory issues surrounding Islamic finance/insurance by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
