Description
Mark Buckingham is the Corporate Affairs Lead for Monsanto in the UK and Ireland. Monsanto are one of the best known agricultural and life science companies in the world, and of course to many are synonymous with GM crops. They do much more than this of course. Mark will talk to us about how he sees the GM situation developing both in the UK and internationally. He will, however, discuss what is the wider role of a company such as Monsanto in the development of a more sustainable agri food supply chain that everyone - government, NGOs, retailers/foodservice companies and consumers are all demanding - but never seem quite sure how to deliver. This should be a fascinating evening. Spaces for this event are limited to 20 and you are advised to book early.
