The Social Marketing market interest group's official launch event.
This event celebrates the group's inauguration, including two high profile speakers on how a major commercial organisation uses social marketing and how social marketing fits with the government's Big Society/influencing behaviour agenda. The group also plans to present our response to the Institute's Shape the Agenda paper 'Less Smoke, More Fire'.
As well as keynote speakers, the conference will showcase good practice examples of social marketing during refreshments and provide a platform to discuss and debate the commonalities and differences between social and commercial marketing practice. The agenda for the evening is as follows:
