The inaugural event of the Technology Market Interest Group (TMIG) in January 2011 was a huge success, attracting dozens of key people from the business of creating and marketing technology. The second event in January 2012 promises to offer further insights and inspiration.
Following a short presentation, a leading panel of experts will share their views on how to develop high impact technology marketing strategies on a shoestring; and how to embrace alternative thinking in today's complex networked society. It's the latest injection of essential knowledge from the only dedicated forum for technology marketers. So if you're in technology marketing, reserve your place now.
Event highlights include: Shoestrings - high impact start-up strategies on a shoestring, featuring a panel of experts assembled from across the technology sector in a session chaired by Steve Revill.
Panel members:
Hermione Taylor - Founding Director, The DoNation.
Julia Shalet - Product Doctor.
Justin Bowser - Head of online business, HTK Horizon.

Straight lines - How do tech marketers make sense of a non-linear world? with Alan Moore, author of 'No Straight Lines: making sense of our non-linear world'. Straight line marketing is out. Today's interactive networked world is about the massive flow of people, who are connecting, collaborating, organising and creating in a manner that has nothing much to do with a linear approach. But how do tech marketers achieve business and commercial success in this non-linear world? Alan will be revealing his 'no straight lines' perspective on innovation, communities and participatory culture to give your business the edge it needs.
The Technology Market Interest Group (TMIG) is the Institute's dedicated forum for best practice and professional development for technology marketers. Join us and find out more about how we could improve your contribution as a technology marketing professional and help you create measurable success for your organisation.
