Starting your studying
If you are interested in progressing your career in marketing then look no further. Once you've decided where to study and chosen your study option, follow these simple steps and start studying.
Step 1: Contact your chosen study centre
Contact your local Institute study centre to discuss your chosen qualification and
confirm your level of entry.

Step 2: Register with your study centre
Register with your study centre and pay the fees. Each study centre
will be able to provide you with details of its registration process and fees.
Step 3: Become a studying member
Complete The Chartered Institute of Marketing's application process. This will also register you as
an Affiliate Member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing and give you a range of benefits,
resources and support whilst studying.

Step 4: Set up your online account
Set up your personal online account and access membership benefits. Your membership number
and authorisation key will be provided on your membership confirmation letter/e-mail.
Step 5: Register for your assessments
Once you have decided in which units you would like to be
assessed and when you would like to take them, you can register for your assessments in one of two ways:
- Enter assessments online
- Complete an assessment entry form and return it to The Chartered Institute of Marketing by post
