TV show Doctor Who has put Cardiff well and truly on the map. Not only is it filmed in Wales, using locations such as the Millennium Stadium, but Russell T Davies, the Executive Producer, is also Welsh. The entire country is benefiting from the Doctor Who effect, and The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Director for Wales, Richard Houdmont, says there are plenty of opportunities for hotels to capitalise on the show’s popularity.
