New educational advertising game up for award
27 October 2008
The Communications, Advertising and Marketing (CAM) Foundation has launched an online game to raise awareness of the marketing communications industry and the career opportunities it offers.

Game shortlisted for this year’s World of Learning Awards
The game is proving popular with visitors to the CAM Foundation's web site and has been shortlisted for a World of Learning 2008 award in the Serious Games Solution category. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony in Birmingham on the 19 November.
The game takes the form of a fun quiz. Contestants answer questions about the marketing communications industry, and with each successful answer, progress their career in the advertising industry. Contestants even have three lifelines – ask the audience, delete a lie, or switch questions.
The game is designed to be entertaining and engaging and to be passed on to others, with the purpose of raising awareness of the CAM Foundation and making the link between an education in marketing communications and CAM's qualifications, the CAM Diploma, more explicit.
Marialena Zinopoulou, CAM's Education Manager said; "It is great to see so many people engaging with and enjoying our game. There are multiple options for a career in advertising and communications and our online game highlights this."
