Roger Foster has taken up the position of Regional Director of the East and West Midlands for the Chartered Institute of Marketing which has very active branches in Nottingham / Northampton / Leicester / Birmingham / Stoke and Wolverhampton.
As well as representing the East and West Midlands at a national level within the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s head office and working with the regional board and local branches, Roger’s role also embraces developing closer links with The Institute, other organisations, educational establishments and businesses throughout the regions. Roger has been an employee of The Chartered Institute of Marketing for five years, having joined to develop student and membership communications and interaction, then development work for the conference centre before taking on the position of Open Course Sales Manager where he restructured and grew sales of the open course training.
Prior to joining the Institute Roger was managing director of the UK subsidiary of a European electronic component group with sales of £152m and has held board and management positions with in the electronic components industry.
