Summary Of Role
The Victory Services Club is a one-hundred-year old Private Members' Club with 230 bedrooms, three restaurants, bars and extensive conference and banqueting facilities. The VSC is accredited to the European Standard for Service & Business Excellence, Hospitality Assured, and has been voted Services Club of the Year twice and 'Best Places To Work in Hospitality' (Highly Commended 2006 & now again in 2008), as well as many other leading industry awards. Superbly located at Marble Arch, in the very heart of London's West End, it sets the standards for quality and service in the Private Club Sector.
The Role
An exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated marketer to join one of the 'Best Places to Work in Hospitality'.
Responsibilities include:

Identifying and delivering all marketing activities to drive membership acquisition, accommodation sales and events & conference business

A strong understanding of the full marketing mix including advertising, pr, direct marketing, online marketing and promotions is essential

Knowledge of hospitality/hotel & catering sales would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of the Armed Services

The individual must have:

Experience in marketing planning and executing successful marketing campaigns

Strong theoretical and practical marketing knowledge and skills

Full budget management experience

Excellent direct marketing and database management

Print management experience

Knowledge of online marketing

Experience of managing external agencies

Motivation and enthusiasm

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects

Educated to a degree standard or equivalent or hold a CIM diploma

Knowledge of the Armed Forces desirable
