CIM Cymru/Wales
The establishment of CIM Cymru/Wales is an exciting new opportunity. The new Wales Region has been established in order to:

Create new strategic partnerships which can only occur in a Wales/Welsh context

Improve marketing networks in the Wales business community

Establish CIM Cymru/Wales as the primary point of contact on any marketing-related issue for government, media and business within Wales

Exploit new funding streams

Increase membership and in particular redress the imbalance between North and South
-
Increase the profile and take-up of the CIM Student membership
-
Enhance ‘ownership’ of the CIM by its members in Wales and empower those members
-
Recognise the reality of devolved Government in Wales and actively engage with and influence the development of devolved decision-making
-
Recognise and exploit the value of bilingual Wales
Chaired by Jo Corp, the South Wales Branch Committee meets regularly to oversee activities in the area including branch events and CIM-supported marketing clubs in Universities.
