Michael King from Cleaver Fulton Rankin is a litigator who specialises in intellectual property, and is also a data protection practitioner.
In this session Michael will provide an insight into current and developing case law on copyright and intellectual property. He will provide guidance on what companies and individuals can do to ensure they manage the risks of marketing their products and services in the digital world and will highlight steps companies may wish to consider (especially the creative industries) to protect their work.
With case law drawn from the internet, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, this 90 minute seminar (consisting of presentation, followed by Q&A and discussion) will focus on how the principles of IP and copyright have changed in response to the world of social and digital media.
