    Much research and managerial attention has been devoted to understand how valued relationships between customers and brands can be maintained. Prof Heiner Evanschitzky’s recent research challenges conventional wisdom, showing how and why some consumer-brand relationships endure while others fade for no obvious reasons.  It further shows typical consumer-brand relationship trajectories and sheds light on what marketers can do to revive relationships.

    The first part of the session will explain the key issues, challenges and solutions; the second part will be an interactive discussion.
