When it comes to print, do you always know exactly what you are buying? How can you maximise your print budget? Are you up to date with the latest development in print technology?

Learn all you need to know with this dedicated one day workshop being held and hosted by Belmont Press, in Northampton.

In just one day you will receive a detailed introduction to the printing process. The workshop will help you to request quotes, buy print with confidence and achieve better value from your print budget.

We will look at the following:

• Paper: Understand the types of paper, how paper is made, environmental considerations and myths
• Pre-press and colour: Artwork, screening, common mistakes and colour management
• Print and digital media: Various papers and substrates compared and contrasted
• Printing and finishing: Lithographic and digital printing, and binding methods explained and compared
• Tour: A conducted tour of Belmont Press to view file processing, digital proofing, plate making, printing machines, laminating, die cutting and creasing, folding and various binding and finishing techniques

The day offers the opportunity to find out all you need to know about print in one enjoyable day. Lunch and tea/coffee refreshments are included.
