Embedding sustainability as a core brand value

Corporate responsibility is an established reality for all businesses and no longer the preserve of the marginal few. Increasingly there is a growing expectation on companies of all sizes and sectors to underpin and demonstrate their sustainability credentials through their operational compliance and management of risk and through their reporting activities. Marketing has a critical important role in this; both in the design and delivery of the business sustainability strategy and, not least, through the embedding of sustainability as a core brand value.

Carole Bond is a Chartered Marketer and sustainability specialist, who has been immersed in the deep waters of sustainable marketing, helping businesses to find their 'sea legs', for more than 25 years. In this interactive session she will look at what does this all mean in practice and the journey towards sustainable marketing, by shining a light on the triumphs and pitfalls, the examples of good, bad and ugly practice and the implications for marketers everywhere.
