January 26, 2017
9:30 AM - Belfast
Collaboration is something that, as communicators, we think should come easily to us, but in practice is actually quite hard to do effectively. All too often campaign collaboration is done too late, or ends up being tokenistic, rather than a meaningful, planned enterprise that makes the most of the resources and expertise of the organisations involved.
Whether we are delivering campaigns to change behaviour or attitudes, or to ensure the efficient delivery of services, organisations across the public, private and third sector often have common goals and objectives. Working with each other can help to establish best practice, create cross-sector networks and strengthen our shared communications industry.
At this joint CIM and Government Communications Service event, we'll bring together speakers from the public and private sector both in Northern Ireland and across the UK to talk about their experience of campaign collaboration, and how working in partnership can deliver benefits for everyone.
Key speakers confirmed so far include National Blood and Transplant Service GB who will report on their Missing Type campaign.
