As Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and other forms of emerging technology become more mainstream, how can we as marketers, create measurable results with strategic use of immersive technology?

Guest speakers at this year’s annual lecture are:

Industry leader, Dean Johnson, Head of Innovation at Brandwidth, a creative brand engagement agency using VR with some of the world’s biggest companies.

Dean is an accomplished design leader, writer, presenter and BBC tech pundit. He is a regular speaker at events such as TEDx Athens and is a co-host of #StereocastVR. Dean is also pushing the boundaries of VR further than before with the world’s first live-action VR series. Dean will share his thoughts on the future of this technology and how we can capitalise on its full potential.

Cathy White - Director of CEW Communications and GeekGirl Meetup UK, Cathy is an accomplished international expert leading the way for tech start-ups at the forefront of immersive technology.

Samantha Kingston - Co-founder and Client Director at Virtual Umbrella, at just 25 years old Samantha has been named a rising star of the BIMA 100, named MCV's 30 under 30 and nominated for unsung hero in the Women in Games awards.

Chris Daly - Chris was appointed as Chief Executive of CIM in February 2016, Chris will introduce this year’s event.

This is the eleventh annual Mike Warne event organised by students from Bournemouth University and as in recent years, this year’s event promises to be far more than a lecture from industry leaders. Ticket price includes refreshments and networking.
