    6:00 PM - London

*This event has been rescheduled from the 23 February 2017*

We all understand the importance of the words and images we use and our tone of voice when crafting marketing communications. But if you operate in international markets are you able to create content that bridges linguistic and cultural gaps?

This event will look at the importance of localisation, not just copy translation, and what you need to know about international SEO. We will also look at how a deep understanding of different cultures is a key ingredient for success in both international and domestic markets.

    Speakers

Gytha Lodge is an experienced copywriter with both creative writing expertise and a strong marketing and publications background. She heads up the international copywriting team at Alpha, which creates materials for numerous high-profile clients across the financial, retail, marketing, luxury, eCommerce, technology, security and educational sectors. Susannah Poulton is an International Communication Advisor at the Department for International Trade (formerly UKTI). She advises companies on how to trade successfully with overseas markets and ensure they are communicating effectively and efficiently with potential customers and key-stakeholders. Both before and after the presentations you will have an opportunity to meet and network with other professional marketers. Food and refreshments are included in the price.
