    11:15 AM - London

    This event is fully booked

The construction sector is usually associated with typical images like 'male' and 'traditional' and has failed to excite the younger generation.

Today the sector is facing extreme skill shortages and has failed to attract talents from all spectrum of the society. One of the issue is 'poor perception' of the industry.

CIM's Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) intends to address this issue, and play a facilitator role in bringing key players from the sector to debate, discuss and pledge on the issue.

This lunch held at the House of Lords. It is hosted by Lord Best a former Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation and Joseph Rowntree Foundation will introduce the issue and CIMCIG’s initiative to address this.
