Description

An informal social event, with a serious side - that is to celebrate the hard work and initiative invested by the members of The Institute.

We are delighted to have Gary Verity, Chief Executive, of "Welcome to Yorkshire" the new name of the Yorkshire Tourist Board as our guest speaker. Gary will be talking about the exciting £30 million "Get to know Y" campaign and rebrand.

We will be recognising our studying members in Yorkshire and Humber who have passed The Institute's qualifications in the December 2008 and June 2009 examinations and announcing our top students.

Speaker: Gary Verity, Chief Executive, "Welcome to Yorkshire" Gary has a strong business background in marketing, customer service and the financial sector. He was previously Managing Director of Johnsons Cleaners and Group Managing Director of Prontaprint and Kall Kwik. Gary grew up in Leeds, and now lives in North Yorkshire, where he has a sheep farm.

Come and join members, studying members, tutors, marketing recruiters, friends and guests for an exciting evening at a stylish Leeds city centre venue. A great night for networking and keeping up with all things marketing.

Registration 18:00, this event begins at 18:30 and finishes at 21:00. Buffet will be provided on arrival and cash bars are available.
