What is The Pitch?

The Pitch is a nationwide marketing competition for students, designed to recognise and reward the marketing talent of the future. In teams of two or three, you have to tackle a marketing challenge set by student travel company – StudentUniverse. Pitch it to real industry leaders and if you impress our panel, you will be in the running for an array of career-accelerating prizes.

Who can enter?

Second and third year students at UK universities studying a marketing degree or business degree with a marketing module.

Why should your students take part?

By encouraging your students to take part in this year’s Pitch competition you are giving them the chance to win an array of prizes as well as the opportunity to boost their CVs, network with some of the biggest names in marketing and gain real-life pitching experience.

The university who goes above and beyond getting their students engaged with The Pitch competition will be rewarded with ‘The best student engagement award’ at our Marketing Excellence Awards. This goes further than just getting them to enter, it’s about supporting your students and helping them produce high quality entries.

Be sure to track all of your promotion of the competition as well as any extra support given because you’ll need to produce a small case study which showcases what you’ve done, along with supporting evidence.
