The Hampshire and Isle of Wight branch covers South Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Branch membership profile

We have over 1,000 people in our branch, including professional members and students. 

We have a broad membership profile, including directors, managers, professionals and students, who work in a wide variety of sectors and both the public and private sector. Our members come from both large and small companies and we also have many consultants from across a range of fields.

Qualifications

Around 35% of our members are currently studying for the Institute's qualifications and many are starting out on their career ladder. We value our excellent relationship with all the regional academic establishments including:

• Bournemouth University.
• Poole and Bournemouth College.
• Southampton University.
• Solent University.
• Portsmouth Business School.
• Professional Bodies Liaison.

We regularly communicate with our students, members, local colleges and local branches of other professional bodies. We are particularly active with SOSCA and Business Link.

Regular events and meetings

Events and meetings in the area are organised by our Branch Committee (to see profiles of our Committee members please see related downloads).

We also promote local marketing events and endeavour to create a community of marketers to provide those important opportunities for networking.
