The South East region includes the Kent, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex and Thames Valley branches.

Welcome

The South East Region stretches in an arc around London, from Thanet in the south-east to the New Forest in the south-west and to Aylesbury Vale and Milton Keynes in the north-west. Its primary industries are in high added value sectors supported by 91 Universities and Further Education institutions.

Over 7,000 of our members are working across these industries of which 30% are studying for our graduate and postgraduate qualifications before moving on to gain the coveted Chartered Marketer status.

For members in our region, local support is provided by the five branches – Thames Valley, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, West Surrey, Sussex, and Kent. Each of the branches organise a varied calendar of events designed to keep members up to date and support them with their continuing professional development (CPD) plans.

Information on the events is regularly emailed and is available from the events directory on this website. Members can attend any of our events, regardless of your branch or region. Many of the events are also open to guests who may be considering membership or want to increase their understanding on specific topic.

Our activities

Our events range from small interactive workshops on digital marketing techniques to panel debates and annual lectures by leading practitioners in Kent, Portsmouth and Surrey. We also hold major regional conferences. 

As well as events, we also provide opportunities to network and build contacts with other members and guests in the locality or industry.
