Welcome

We work tirelessly to raise the profile of marketing in the region and champion professional marketing practices.  Our vibrant and enthusiastic team of members from across Yorkshire invite you to get involved in the most exciting business discipline – marketing. 

We do this in a variety of ways – presentations, speaking engagements, workshops, free marketing clinics at business fairs, judging awards, offering expert advice and mentoring.  But we cannot do this alone; we need our local members, especially our Chartered Marketers, to come aboard and spread the word. 

Our activities

As always, we have put together a great season of events for you to keep up-to-date and inspired, earn continuing professional development (CPD) hours and network. For more details see the bottom of this page.

Of course we appreciate that you cannot always attend our events and so, when possible, we do post the presentations on the members section of the relevant branch webpage some time afterwards, but it's no substitute so if you can please do make the effort to come along.  Why not bring friends and colleagues too? Everyone is welcome!

Assisting marketing practitioners
Paul Rowse, a Fellow of the Institute, living in Yorkshire, has written a book for marketing practitioners called My Marketing Miscellany (see related downloads). All proceeds from the sale of the book go to the Institute's Benevolent Fund.
