How to Join
Affiliate Professional member
If you wish to join as an Affiliate Professional today you can be a member within the hour simply join online now.
You can also join as an Affiliate Professional member by post. Simply download the Professional membership application form, complete and return to us with payment. To pay by direct debit please use the Direct Debit mandate and return by post with your application form.
Graded membership (ACIM/MCIM/FCIM grades only)
If you wish to apply for graded membership download the Professional membership application form, complete and return to us. There is a downloadable Direct Debit Mandate, if you choose to pay by this method. This should be returned by post together with your application form. You application will be reviewed by an external assessor who will determine your grade.
Senior Management Entry Scheme
If you have considerable marketing experience at a senior marketing level or consultancy, and at the time of application are holding an appointment at or near board level, but hold no formal academic marketing qualifications, you may apply for membership under this scheme.
If you wish to apply through this route, you can download the
Senior Management Entry Scheme application form which outlines entry criteria; simply complete and return to us. There is a downloadable
Direct Debit Mandate, if you choose to pay by this method. This should be returned by post together with your application form and any supporting evidence. You application will be reviewed by an external assessor who will determine your grade.
Upgrading your membership
If you are a current Affiliate member (Studying), Affiliate Professional, ACIM or MCIM member and wish to upgrade your membership, download the Upgrade form, complete and return to us. There is no additional charge to upgrade. Your application will be reviewed by an external assessor who will determine your grade.

If you don't yet have a login (username and password) you need to register to set this up. You will need your membership number and authorisation key.
