CIM Academy offers new virtual learning option for marketing qualifications
19 October 2009 – To help those who are short of study time but want to achieve a worldwide recognised professional marketing qualification The Chartered Institute of Marketing has announce a new virtual learning option.
The new virtual learning option has been specifically designed to provide maximum accessibility and flexibility combined with the highest quality of delegate support, all coursework can be completed remotely without the need to travel to classes.
Using the latest technology, those who choose to study via this option can benefit from interactive online tutorials and live virtual classroom sessions that will combine the convenience of online learning with the interactivity and engagement of traditional classroom learning.
The virtual learning programmes are available from February 2010 for the Professional Certificate in Marketing and the Professional Diploma in Marketing. Further details are available from the CIM Academy team.
It’s well worth doing a marketing qualification as The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s recent marketing salary survey, conducted by Croner Rewards, showed. The survey revealed that senior and middle managers, who are qualified members of the Institute, are paid between 2% and 12% above the salary of an equivalent non-member respondent - £58,500 compared with £52,000 at senior manager level, and £33,000 compared with £32,000 at middle manager level.
David Thorp, director of research and professional development at the Institute said;
Our new virtual learning option offers, both would be marketers and those already in the profession who are short of time but want to develop their skills and knowledge further, an opportunity undertake a career enhancing professional marketing qualifications that can make a real positive difference in their ongoing personal career progression.
