Top international marketing students recognised
The Chartered Institute of Marketing recognised its top worldwide students at its graduation ceremony in Symphony Hall, Birmingham, earlier this month with a series of ten top awards. The ceremony, the largest in many years, was attended by the Randal Brew, Deputy Lord Mayor of Birmingham; Sir Paul Judge, The Institute’s president, and over 1,200 students and guests.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing sponsored a lively debate at the House of Commons on the 27 October 2008 about whether organisations now expect marketing to be more scientific than artistic – with those believing creativity is no longer enough for organisations narrowly winning the argument.
