    5:30 PM - Leeds

    **THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED**

Since the mid-90s, there has been a growing interest in the study of digital media. Not only for the benefits of global communication, collaboration and breaking down geographical limitations - but on the impact on human habits, the mind and mental health.

Over the years there has been vast debates about digital and social media platforms negatively impacting health, with overuse and 'digital addiction' being cited as a cause for a deterioration in mental fitness.

Yet recent studies and growing online forums, bloggers and influencers are beginning to discuss the positive power of global connectivity and how social and digital media also offer the opportunity to amplify and improve mental fitness through inspiring and educational content.

One thing that is clear from all studies is that when online, people listen. It's what they are listening to that matters.

Have your say alongside marketing and professional peers at Leeds Digital Festival this April to debate the power and impact of the digital and content revolution.

Join panellists from Leeds Mind, YPO and Elliot's Gift in the discussion to drive change in the digital generation.

This event is part of Leeds Digital Festival 2020 and kindly sponsored and hosted by thebigword.
