Our world is changing faster than many people care to imagine, with innovators attempting to develop solutions to the existing and new challenges we face. Healthcare is one area undergoing a disruption and those working in this area need to understand how technology can support them. You don’t have to solve all the problems on your own, however you need to understand how people can collaborate when you are often working in uncharted territory.
Our speaker is Kai Gait Senior Global Digital Director at GSK. He’s spent the past 15 years working across the globe utilising analytics and social insights to develop and enhance global/local marketing and technology initiatives. He is passionate for the need for businesses to understand the customer, support their needs and provide innovative solutions to their problems. To this end, Kai led the development and launch of the pharmaceutical industries and GSKs first standalone Class I Medical Device mobile app for patients which recently launched in the UK.
Kai will highlight the how digital is changing the healthcare landscape, the impact it is having and an insight into what the future holds, there will be opportunity to ask questions and discuss some of the key issues.
Kai continually improves his skills as a Chartered Marketer by specialising in digital marketing and communications and frequently speaks on subjects such as digital marketing, innovation, social marketing, mobile, gamification, integrating behavioural change programmes and more recently, wearable technologies, coupled with the Internet of Things.
The event will be hosted by Lord Lansley and includes drinks and lunch on the Terrace at the House of Lords.
