    You don’t have to be studying at Glyndwr University to attend this free event but you do need to register.

    14:10 – ‘Don’t be an egg; how to manage your personal branding in your marketing job search‘ with Sarah Jones, Head of Marketing at Acorn Recruitment

    14:30 – ‘How to build a marketer; looking at the skills and aptitudes required for a successful marketing career’ with Carl Mather, CIM Wales Board Ambassador and Ceri Rowland, CIM Wales Network Manager

    14:50 – ‘The current state of innovation within marketing’ with John House, Managing Director of Pintrical

    15:10 – ‘Digital marketing, marketing technology and the future in this exciting field’

    In addition to the programme, attendees can pre-book slots through the afternoon (subject to availability) for the following sessions:

    • Job speed dating – meet Demon Tweeks a local e-commerce/mail order employer actively looking to recruit marketing talent for their business.

    • CV clinics – submit your CV to Acorn Recruitment’s career consultants in advance of the event and meet them face-to-face to help them present you in the best possible way
     
    • Mock interviews – take a mock interview and get interview guidance

    Attendees can also take the opportunity to meet and talk with Glyndwr’s Careers service and GO Wales 'Achieve through Work Experience', who can help to organise work experience and paid work placements.
