CIM Travel Group’s Question Time – a sell-out event for the past two years – returns on Monday 29 January in a new guise as part of the Travel Marketing Events series, which combines quality networking with the latest thinking, tools, trends, hints and tips.

The event, sponsored by Vertical Leap, will see a select number of senior travel industry and agency marketing experts come together to debate the issues of the day before an audience of high-profile in-house and agency travel marketing professionals.

This interactive evening is ideally timed for the speakers to assess the industry’s turn-of-year Peaks campaigns, as well as debate the topical challenges, trends and opportunities facing travel marketers in 2018.

Panellists will include winners from the 2017 Travel Marketing Awards, each representing different marketing disciplines and sectors of the travel industry.

Travel Marketing: Question Time will take place at Wallacespace Spitalfields beginning with a networking reception which will include beer, wine, a variety of ‘dry January’ soft drinks and a selection of bowl foods.

Moderated by Sophie Griffiths, Editor of TTG, and Steve Dunne, CEO of Digital Drums, The Travel Marketing Awards winners set to speak at the event represent different marketing disciplines and sectors of the travel industry, and include:

Dean Harvey, Marketing Director, Kuoni – Winners of Travel Brand of the Year, Best Direct Marketing (Print) and Best In-House PR Team;

Amanda Lakin, Head of Brand Marketing, TUI UK & Ireland – Winners of Best Consumer Press Advertising, Integrated Campaign of The Year (Up To £1m Spend) and Best Use Of Affinity Marketing & Sponsorship for Thomson ahead of this year’s rebrand;

Will Weeks, Global Head of Strategy and Content, Contiki – Winner of the Tomorrow’s Travel Marketing Leader award;

Laura Stephen, Senior Manager – Consumer Marketing, Virgin Atlantic – Winners of Best Outdoor Advertising;

Eva Kwiecinska, Senior Marketing Manager, VisitScotland – Winners of the Integrated Campaign Of The Year (Over £1m Spend);

Mario Bounas is Director of Marketing at Royal Caribbean – Winners of Best Business to Business Advertising.

Travel Marketing Events, by the organisers of The Travel Marketing Awards, is a new series of quarterly events that combine quality networking with the latest thinking, tools and trends in travel marketing.
