This event is aimed at anyone who either responds to request for proposal (RFP) or pitches for specific work with new prospects. This is a full morning seminar and intends to look at how a pitch should be approached to increase success.
It will cover:
• Common problems when pitching
• Analysing who you are pitching to. This is often more than one person and they may have different agendas and needs
• Researching the context they are operating within and how that may affect their decision-making process
• Deciding on the appropriate style for different personality types
• The pitch meeting
• How to go the extra mile
Speaker: Rebecca Harding MCIM MCIPR FSWWJ. Principal, Saltwhistle and Vice Chairman, Growth and Engagement, CIM Midlands Board.
Since founding Saltwhistle, Rebecca’s professional clients have ranged from multi-nationals such as PWC, Deloitte and Mediacom (WPP) to SMEs. They benefit from consultancy, marketing and pitching and business development in the UK and internationally, as well as innovation workshops and communications solutions.
Before Saltwhistle, Rebecca was head of marketing communications for Andersen, working across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. She has been quoted and published widely in the media and she appears regularly on a BBC radio chat show.
Rebecca is also Worldwide Vice Chairman, Society of Women Writers and Journalists.
