    At this event, we will look at how digital creative and content - why it’s important and how it’s changing and what we need to be thinking about in the future? The session will cover creative types, formats, and shapes as well as how dynamic creative is becoming more and more accessible. We will also look at how data can be used to personalise digital messages and how it can optimise them effectively.

    Delegates will be set a challenge to write a campaign brief and create a campaign hook, utilising new ad formats, and exciting dynamic options.

    This is the latest in a series of events being held at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton by the recently formed CIM/UOB Marketing Club.

    The aim of the club is to give practising marketers an opportunity to take some time-out, challenge thinking, learn new skills and share experiences with the next generation of marketing talent. It’s also designed to give students interested in careers in marketing an opportunity to network with people already working at the coalface.

    Speakers from Coast Digital

    Darren Bond is Digital Strategy Director at Coast Digital. He works with clients to understand the opportunities available in digital and develop digital strategies that are aligned with their long term business objectives. He brings together the user experience and digital marketing offerings at Coast, to provide clients with user-centred and insight-driven digital marketing.

    Darren is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Suffolk Business School, and a regular speaker for the CIM and other industry events. He is passionate about inspiring people to do more with digital.

    Jamie Hayward is a Senior Display Specialist with over 8 years agency experience of media planning and buying.  Starting his career in paid search, he now specialises in social and programmatic display and has worked across major global brands which has included Unilever, Rolex, Mazda and American Express.  At Coast Digital he works with our clients to understand their audiences and develop the right display strategy that works to achieve their goals and maximise return on investment.

    Miguel Cedeno is a Paid Media Specialist at Coast Digital.  With over 6 years of experience in digital marketing, Miguel's expertise lies in PPC, Paid Social campaigns and data analysis. After completing a degree in Economics in his native Mexico, Miguel moved to the UK to complete an MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. At Coast Digital, you will find him designing innovative strategies and discovering actionable insights to create successful results for his clients
