    9:00 AM - Bristol

The growth of ‘prosumers’, changes in data legislation and new marketing opportunities, mean many basic assumptions on customer and purchase behaviour are no longer valid.

In this workshop, Andrew Morton will explore how consumer behaviour is changing and how this might impact on your organisation. He’ll explore different methods for assessing and understanding online behaviour so that strategic decisions, based on sound knowledge, can be made.

Andrew will examine feasible ways of improving the online experience for your customers and the resources that might be required. Throughout the workshop, he’ll be applying established digital marketing concepts and behavioural theory to today’s practical business environment.

This workshop has been designed to help marketers who are involved in building and maintaining long-term valuable online relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders. This might include senior decision-makers and planners as well as those people developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns.

At the end of the workshop you will understand the:
    • Significance and value of understanding your customers’ online behaviour including methods for researching and defining their behavioural profiles.
    • Key academic concepts and a range of accessible data providers.

Andrew is an experienced marketer, he is currently a marketing lecturer and a CIM senior examiner and assessor.
