Ireland Marketing Awards

As previously announced, we had to cancel the CIM Ireland Marketing Awards and Marketing Live event for 2020 due to the pandemic.

However, in October 2020 we formed an eminent panel of judges to review all of the entries submitted prior to the original February deadline and they selected winners for four of the original eight categories.

The CIM Ireland Marketing Awards 2020 ceremony took place online on Wednesday 16 December 2020.

At the ceremony we not only announced the finalists and winners, which you will find listed below, but also played each of the 10-minute audio slide shows from the four winning campaigns (all entries were submitted in this Audio PowerPoint format).

You can view a recording and watch the award-winning case-studies covering the Best Use of Digital, Best Integrated Campaign, Best Brand Building Campaign and Best Corporate Social Responsibly campaign below.

The Winners

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Awards. You will be able to view a recording of the Awards Ceremony presentation, including each of the 10-minute audio slide shows from the four winning campaigns below.

  • Best use of Digital Marketing

Liberty IT: A Campaign in Code

Judges’ comment. “This entry revealed a powerful customer centric approach to address low awareness and salience of the Liberty IT brand. Meticulously planned, this hyper targeted campaign caught the attention of the judges for its innovative approach.”

  • Best Integrated Campaign

    TAYTO NI: TAYTO HAPPY

Judges’ comment. “A wonderfully executed integrated campaign to raise the profile of the Tayto brand in a very crowded marketplace. Imaginative and clever tactics were orchestrated to maximum impact”

  • Best Brand Building Campaign

AV Browne on behalf of Hastings Hotels: The Doorman and the Duck

Judges’ comment. “A superb campaign that combined computer animation and on location filming in the iconic Europa hotel. The Hastings rubber duck was brought to life and matched by the doorman to create a moving and memorable campaign that would rival those of the large high street retailers.”

  • Best Corporate Social Responsibility

The Irish News: Irish News Young News Readers Project

Judges’ comment. “This entry offered a succinct and valuable CSR proposition – to improve literary skills in schools. The range of ongoing collaborative partnerships showed a strong commitment to the CSR goal and the enduring legacy will benefit many school pupils in years to come.”
