shared through a number of easy to access channels, here's what's coming up:
2014 Digital Summit - London
6 June 2014
On 6 June 2014, CIM and Bloomberg showcased their second annual Digital Summit, a major industry event that explored the dramatic shifts in digital capability and potential. It was a day filled with real-life case studies, in-depth analysis and expert insights. The day was designed to help marketers keep pace with ever-accelerating change. More than 275 senior marketers congregated at Bloomberg’s European Headquarters to explore the following topics and hear from expert speakers on:
- The latest ‘need-to-know’ developments in digital and social media.
- Making digital transformation a reality.
- Connecting the dots – becoming truly multichannel.
- Content marketing – from great theory to meaningful results.
- Future disruptions in digital and social media – and what to do about them.
Each year we celebrate the success of our members who graduate with one of CIM's industry-recognised qualifications. This prestigious event distinguishes their achievement through a special honouring ceremony. The 2014 event will take place at Church House Conference Centre in London on Saturday 22 November 2014. Graduates with the following qualifications who will have sat their last exam in either September/December 2013 or March/June 2014 are eligible to attend: Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing and Diploma in Strategic Sales Practice.

Awards Night: 12 February 2014
The Marketing Excellence Awards celebrate the best marketing achievements, no matter what industry sector or discipline, acknowledging individual and team contributions.
It is important that we celebrate these achievements to continuously flag the positive value of marketing to both businesses and society. It’s the marketers who are on the frontline of any business, bridging the gap between customers’ needs and company offerings that need to perform, gain competitive advantage and make profit. Winners were announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on 12 February 2014 where hundreds of top marketing professionals gathered to celebrate marketing achievements.

Fellows' Networking Event
A new business-focused event exclusive to The Chartered Institute of Marketing's Fellows took place in London on 18 July. Speakers presented the latest findings from CIM research into the credibility and influence of the marketing function in organisations, its direct impact on the confidence of marketers and other aspects, as well as an industry perspective. The event closed with a discussion chaired by CIM’s CEO, followed by time to network.
