Join Bournemouth University and CIM for their annual ICE symposium event that seeks to inspire and create engaging conversation between academia and industry on the latest marketing trends. Final year BA (Hons) Marketing Communications students from Bournemouth University (BU), in partnership with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), will host the event at Bournemouth University on 08 May 2024.
We’ll bring varying perspectives from two leading industry speakers on the crucial aspects of AI as a marketers friend or foe, encouraging the audience to come to their own conclusions as to AI's rightful place in the marketing field.

Laura Cioffi – Founder of Vertis Media & Thriize
Laura is a seasoned digital marketing strategist bringing over 20 years of expertise in digital marketing strategy, planning, and execution as well as having a wealth of experience in helping businesses thrive digitally. As a digital marketing consultant and instructor, her goal is to help businesses get noticed, acquire more customers, and grow sustainably.
Luke Williams - Group Head of AI at Intergage Group
Luke works across the business to establish and share best practices in selecting, implementing, and using AI tools. Developing use-case pilots, measuring their impact to the business, and investigating new AI technology solutions to facilitate growth.
