    6:00 PM - London

At this event we’ll look at cause-related marketing (CRM) and why, despite recent trust scandals and brands in crisis, it is still a win-win partnership for non-profit organisations and commercial businesses.

We'll hear about what we can learn from the long history of corporate/charity marketing partnerships and the range of marketing and CSR objectives that can be achieved from cross-sector working. We’ll also discuss how marketing professionals can utilise their skills and experience to assist charities at a Board level while developing their own personal and professional competencies.

Our first speaker is leading fundraising consultant Valerie Morton, who has over 30 years’ experience in the voluntary sector working with charities such as Help the Aged, NSPCC and RNIB. She is a Fellow and Diploma level member of the Institute of Fundraising, a member of their Policy Advisory Board and an IOF approved trainer .

The second session will be presented by Dr Louise Erskine, Managing Director, Career Volunteer and David Lale, Founder, Charity People Group. Both have extensive experience working with companies to design their employer supported volunteering programmes and placing people into non-profit Board roles

You will also have an opportunity to meet and network with other professional marketers. Food and refreshments are included in the price.
