Overview

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) is the apex body for Sri Lankan Marketers. The institute was founded in 1970 and was subsequently incorporated by an act of Parliament in 1980, recognising it as the National body for Marketing in Sri Lanka and a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation. SLIM has been the longest-standing accredited study centre of CIM in Sri Lanka, accommodating CIM lecturers in Colombo and Kandy branches of SLIM.

As the national institute for Marketing in Sri Lanka, SLIM has been serving both aspiring and professional marketers in the country to excel in their careers. SLIM is committed to enhancing the marketing education in the country by offering the best national and international qualifications to its students.

Owing to the dedication to maintaining the highest standards in education and coaching, SLIM has seen an increasing number of students successfully graduate from the institute, particularly noting a significant rise.
