CIM Accredited Degree partnerships allow students to graduate with both a degree and a professional marketing qualification. By embedding CIM modules and assessments into degree programmes, students gain exemptions on core CIM qualifications – often completing just one or two assessments instead of three. This creates an efficient, cost-effective path to professional recognition.
CIM Accredited Degree is recommended for the following degrees which have at least 33% of marketing related content:
Degrees with over 50% marketing related content can be mapped against the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification and the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification.
If the degree doesn’t qualify at 50% but does have at least 33% of marketing related content, it can be mapped against the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing/Digital Marketing qualification.
Not sure your degree has enough marketing related content to be mapped against CIM Qualifications? It could still qualify as a Recognised Degree.
Mapping your degree to a CIM qualification is straightforward. We assess your course content against the Global Professional Marketing Framework (GPMF), with frequent approval boards held annually to review applications for CIM Accredited Degree status.
Complete the paperwork – we’ll send you the forms needed for each degree you’d like to accredit.
We review your application at the next approval board. A one-off mapping fee is payable by your university.
Upon approval, you’ll receive CIM Accredited Degree status. An annual licence fee will apply.
