4th June 2026: The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) will host the annual CIM Digital Marketing Conference, which returns for its 18th year in July.
The event, taking place at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford on Wednesday 8th July and kindly sponsored by Arboreal Marketing, will bring together leading marketers and top industry practitioners for a fascinating day of insight, innovation and practical learning, as they highlight the top trends shaping digital marketing.
This year, key themes of the event will include the importance of email as a community-building tool, AI-powered competitor analysis and hyper-personalised marketing with AI.
The state of digital advertising and futurescape, creativity in B2B marketing and building a personal brand will also be covered during this all-day conference, allowing marketers across various sectors to gain transferable skills they can take back to their organisations.
Speaking ahead of the event in Duxford, Nicki Ramsbottom, CIM East of England Committee Chair, said: "We are delighted to return to the Imperial War Museum this July - a fantastic venue for what is set to be another insightful and engaging conference. The popularity of this annual event is testament to our excellent speakers over the years and the dedication of our East of England committee and those behind the scenes at CIM who make this event possible.
"We hope this event, which provides marketers with practical skills that they can apply to their everyday role, will also create opportunities for attendees to network with their industry peers and gain real value from this year’s guest speakers."
Sarah Lee-Boone, CIM Director of Membership, People and Workplace, commented: "We’re here to make sure our members stay sharp, confident, and ready to lead in a fast‑changing industry. This event is exactly the kind of real, hands‑on value you get from being part of our community - a forum for professionals to learn from industry leaders, secure practical takeaways you can use immediately, and start conversations that spark new ways of thinking.
"By participating, you aren’t just attending a session; you’re investing in your career resilience, building your CPD and tapping into a global network that supports your growth long after the event concludes."
Networking opportunities and registration commence at 8:30am, before the event starts at 9:30am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided during the conference, which finishes at 4:30pm.
CIM members at the event will have the opportunity to log the event as part of their CPD, as they work towards Chartered Marketer status.
