Marketers at all levels need to upskill with the pace of change, showing no signs of slowing.

At CIM we believe in the importance of professional marketing training to ensure consistency and quality in the standard of marketing at all levels. Apprenticeships are a critical route for people to enter the marketing profession. The Marketing Apprenticeship Standards will help further professionalise the marketing industry. And businesses can now access apprenticeship funding for marketers wherever they are on their career journey.

We have worked with Employers, Universities and Apprenticeship Training Providers as part of a Trailblazer group to develop apprenticeship standards for marketing that accurately reflect the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to drive the development of the marketing profession now and in the future. 

How does it work?

An apprenticeship is delivered in contractual partnership with the following:

Apprentice: In paid employment and working towards an apprenticeship

Employer: Committed to developing the Apprentice through an effective on-the-job and off-the-job training programme

Apprenticeship Training Provider: We are working closely with selected CIM Accredited Study Centres who have a proven track record of delivering CIM qualifications and are also on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). These partners can work with you to develop a suitable apprenticeship delivery package which could include CIM qualifications, although they are not a mandatory part of the apprenticeship standards

End-Point Assessment Organisation: CIM, is a registered End-Point Assessment Organisation.  They are approved to carry out robust assessment activities at the end of the apprenticeship training programme
