The 2026 event, which is sponsored by Hello Starling and takes place on Wednesday 1st July, will be hosted at the Cardiff City Stadium and will focus on looking ahead to a challenging but exciting future in the marketing sector.

Several questions will be tackled at the event to provide marketers with insight they can use to implement in their day-to-day role, including:

  • How can a brand continue to achieve impactful marketing through successful creative campaigns?
  • How can feedback and insights empower brands to fully understand customer experience?
  • How AI is impacting SEO and why digital PR is now a superpower
  • How to futureproof your business with UGC
  • How is AI, audio and data rewriting attribution?

The speaker lineup at the event will include senior marketers from Feefo, Cowshed, Cardiff Airport, Wilmington Plc, AudioAd Pro, Wordtree and Liberty Marketing, with the forum also providing attendees with opportunities to network with their marketing peers.

Speaking ahead of the forum, Dr Gavin Davies, CIM Wales Committee Chair said: "We are pleased to return to the heart of Wales for another fascinating forum, filled with insight from some of the brightest minds in the marketing sector.

"We hope this event not only provides attendees with new insights they can use to enhance their marketing performance, but also allows them to network with marketing peers that they can benefit from in the future. We look forward to welcoming familiar faces, as well as those who haven’t been to this event before."

Discussing the event, Sarah Lee-Boone, CIM Director of Membership, People and Workplace commented: "Attending events like our Marketing Forum is a great opportunity for professional growth, offering our members a vital opportunity to engage with the latest industry thinking while building their CPD.

"CIM membership provides a continuous pathway for development. This event is a practical example of the value in being part of our community - enabling marketers to sharpen their skills, gain fresh perspectives, and work toward the professional recognition that sets them apart in a competitive market."

Registration and networking begin from 9am, before the event starts at 9:30am (ending at 4:30pm). A buffet lunch and refreshments will also be provided, with most dietary options available.

This event is open to CIM members, who will be able to log the event as part of their CPD on their journey to Chartered Marketer status, and non-members.
