Following a review with university partners and students we have made some key changes to our Graduate Gateway programme, making it an even stronger proposition to those studying an approved Marketing and Business degree.
Key changes are, students will now gain TWO exemptions towards the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing, and will only be required to take ONE CIM module during studies or within FIVE years of achieving the degree to achieve the full qualification. Students would be required to register to study within three years of graduating.
Please note that exemptions available for the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing will remain the same. However, the timeframe to complete the qualification has changed. Students now have FIVE years from graduating to complete the additional CIM modules and would be required to register to study within three years of graduating.
Why is it important to enrol?
A recent survey of UK employers by the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) in 2017 has found that “half of employers believe that graduates lack basic workplace skills”. CIM professional qualifications provide the practical skills which can be applied to roles. This differentiates candidates and increases career potential and progression. With growing competition for job roles, it has never been more important to stand out. The Graduate Market in 2017 report showed that whilst there was a planned increase of 4.3% for graduate recruitment in 2017, the country’s top employers have received 9% more graduate job applications so far, compared with the equivalent period in the 2015-2016 recruitment round.”
