PRESS RELEASE
Top training providers awarded to improve student employability
Leading qualification providers throughout the UK will now be able to become a Strategic Partner of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The move will see CIM collaborate closely with leading qualification providers who attain the status, enabling them to raise the standard of studying students and enhancing their career prospects by ensuring they leave with the skills that employers are looking for.
So far, Oxford College of Marketing, Cambridge Marketing College and Professional Academy have achieved the Strategic Partnership status with more leading qualification providers currently under review.
Qualification providers who gain the status will also be able to work with CIM to develop engaging marketing events and access leading speakers from across industry. Strategic Partners will be able to enhance the credibility of their learning propositions and differentiate themselves from other providers.
The announcement reflects the trend of qualification providers worldwide looking for a competitive edge and a way to ensure the service delivered to students is first class. By becoming recognised as being best-in-class by the business sector and students alike, qualification providers can drive success, improve standards and futureproof their business.
Maggie Jones, Director of Qualifications and Partnerships at CIM said: “The new strategic partner programme provides a greater synergy between CIM and leading qualification providers, while adding value to the qualifications students receive. The CIM brand and qualifications are globally respected and this new strategic partnership programme delivers a clear advantage for qualification providers, ensuring students have access to the training they need to achieve their professional goals.”
Jane Young, Managing Director of Oxford Professional Education Group said: “Oxford College of Marketing is delighted to be formally recognised as a Strategic Partner of CIM. For over 20 years, we have been working alongside the CIM to deliver world-class marketing qualifications. In partnership with the CIM, we will continue to deliver training to the highest standard, which reflects the challenges faced by marketing professionals today. In delivering these qualifications, we will uphold the standards and values integral to the CIM, as the globally recognised marketing body.”
Martin Hutchins, Managing Director of Professional Academy said: “It is indeed an honour to be classed as a Strategic Partner of CIM. In doing so, we are pleased to see that the efforts of both Professional Academy and CIM in driving forward the knowledge and skills of the Marketing industry are being recognised. A true partnership requires trust, understanding and commitment at all levels in both businesses. This is clearly apparent in the relationship we have with the CIM and bodes well for the synergistic growth of both organisations and the success of the Strategic Partnership.”
Kiran Kapur, CEO of the Cambridge Marketing College said: “Having taught CIM qualifications since 1991, the Cambridge Marketing College has always seen marketing knowledge as key to professional development. We have always championed embedding theoretical knowledge with practical experience. We are delighted to be working closer with the CIM and its other strategic partners to continue to promote marketing as key to sustainable business growth.”
