    Gender equality in construction

    There is currently still a misconception in construction that the industry is ‘old-fashioned’ and that it is an industry that is male-dominated. However, that is simply just not the case. Many women working in construction is on the rise, with 14% of women making up the number of construction industry professionals.

    Deborah Rowe, a committee member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Construction Group (CIMCIG) has been in the construction industry for nearly 30 years.
