A lead developed via social media is seven times more likely to close, but social media isn’t all about selling in the traditional sense. Social selling can work incredibly well if you have a solid strategy in place. Consumers are becoming increasingly savvy online, so it’s more important than ever that businesses understand their customers.
At this latest Marketing Club at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton, with Simon Badman, professional social media trainer at SocialB, we will look at how to develop a social strategy and navigate the social media buying journey of a customer.
You’ll learn how to listen to conversations about your brand and product, engage customers through social media advertising and convert these into leads and sales. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to measure your ROI to make sure that social selling is working for you.
Simon Badman is a professional social media trainer with 25 years’ experience across marketing, digital and training. Simon is a Partner and Trainer at SocialB, an international digital marketing and social media agency, where he has spent the last 7 years coaching a range of businesses from small organisations, not for profits and start-ups all the way through to large corporate companies. Simon always builds great relationships with the individuals he coaches and is one of SocialB’s most loved. In his own words, “I live for that ‘Aha’ moment, when one of our training clients not only grasps what they’ve discovered on our courses but feels confident to apply and implement it.”
The price to attend this event is free for University of Bedfordshire students.
