    1:00 PM - Webinar Express

With many high profile brands getting in hot water over their approach to ED&I and gender diversity, this webinar session looks at the importance of engaging and building relationships with minority communities (including trans and non-binary) and how to tackle communications in the right way.

We'll share examples of brands that have got it wrong and discuss "rainbow washing". Then we'll take you through how to communicate effectively to underrepresented community, the basics around language and why it matters.

While there is still a long way to go, when it comes to conversations around topics like gender diversity and knowing how to create meaningful campaigns that resonate with trans and non-binary people will differentiate your brand, build trust and engagement.

Speaker: Aby Hawker, CEO of TransMission PR - a communications consultancy dedicated to helping brands and organisations to confidently navigate the communications landscape in relation to gender diversity.

All marketers would benefit from learning about this increasingly important area of marketing, and how to handle messaging in an engaging and supportive way as well as how to navigate things if and when they get it wrong.

This webinar is for those marketers who wish to improve their understanding around ED&I and how campaigns might impact these communities, as well as understand the pitfalls that can negatively impact brand reputation when engaging in this area.

The webinar is kindly hosted by the CIM South East Group and will last approximately 45 minutes inclusive of a Q&A session after the presentation.
