    8:30 AM - Cardiff

Marketing analytics, technology and automation is changing the marketing landscape and giving marketing leadership new decision-making firepower.

This conference looks at the impact of marketing technology and analysis on marketing with special reference to its impact on the creative function. Are data analysis and creativity mutually exclusive or should they work together? Marketing, up until recently, has been perceived to be a preserve of the creative but with the rise in data and with new technology available, is it more of a balanced profession between left and right brain? Has technology led to shortening creative cycles punctuated by frequent testing, analysis and revision? Does the blend of data, technology and creative process produces marketing that is much more relevant, engaging and more effective at driving customer appeal and financial performance? Does the infusion of analytics and technology presents a huge opportunity or challenge to marketing and it’s creative teams?

    Programme:-
    09:00-09:10 Introduction
09:10-09:45 Paul Laughlin - Learn the softer skills you need in your data analysts
09:45-10:20 Daniel Lewis - What does data eat for breakfast?

How they both co-exist and complement each other in order to make customer communications more relevant and engaging and provide the customer more value. The conference will give you good idea of the type of people and skills you should develop to take your marketing forward.
